Sarah Ties The Knot!!!

I'm a few months behind because life is so busy right now. Back in early September, our huge LeMelle Family and the Velasco Family traveled up to Flagstaff, Arizona to watch Sarah and Jorge say "I DO." The whole weekend was magical and I cried like a baby watching my baby 'sister' get married. I was so honored to be part of the day from helping her get ready, getting our nails done, toasting with champagne all morning, giving a speech at the reception, and most importantly, holding her dress up while she peed! Megan was the prettiest flower girl I've seen in a long time and Ben did well with his bride introduction. Sarah was the most stunning bride I've ever laid eyes on...aside from myself ;).... There's not much else I can say about the weekend because words won't do it justice. Congratulations Sarah and Jorge!!! I love you both so much!

These Three

My oldest 3. And my youngest 3. I sometimes feel like I had two different sets of kids. I'm so blessed. I have something to learn and something to love and appreciate in each set. I love watching my oldest 3 interact. I love watching the dynamics in my younger 3.  Megan is like her momma, enjoying a good cup of coffee and tuning out the boys as they compete in wrestling tournaments on the hotel bed!

Back to Basics

Basically,  summer is over and we're back to school. Back to soccer. Ben started his first soccer season. I'm basically running back and forth between both of their practices, to support Matthew and watch tmy competetive youngest child as he yells at his teammates. When I can't take any longer, I'll run a few laps around the park to maintain some sort of sanity and health. Basically,  we're back to our basic life.  Thought I'd write a quick post because time flies and I don't want to forget these basic days with my babies. Reminding myself that the days are looooong, but the years are short.  #dontblink

Horse riding, Home Schooling, and Birthdays!

Last weekend was so much fun. We got to hang out with daddy's family that we don't see very often. After a two hour drive we got to the ranch, BBQ'd good food, rode horses all day, played on a super fast golf cart, swam in the pool, and watched the televised boxing fight. It was such a great time had by all. We've been busy homeschooling during the week where we learn important life skills like mowing the lawn in addition to the regular subjects taught like Math and Language Arts.....  AND we just celebrated Emily's 12th birthday! Life is flying by. I wish it would slow.
